Too many kids lack access to fresh, healthy food. Growing Chefs is on a mission to change that and we thank you for joining us on that mission. We believe food can be a powerful catalyst for positive change in the lives of kids and youth. Growing Chefs is where kids’ connection to food takes root. 

Working with volunteers from the chef and restaurant industry, Growing Chefs engages kids in hands-on food literacy activities with the whole food cycle--from seed to plate to compost. In our programs, kids plant and care for their own gardens, learn to prepare and cook nutritious meals, and share meals together. 

During these times of distancing due to Covid-19, Growing Chefs has pivoted all programming to continue building connections between food champions in our community and families across British Columbia. Due to the shifting nature of Covid-19, we will consider all funds raised as unrestricted.
