Canadians across the country are dealing with significant challenges. This year, more than ever, it has been important for organizations to step up and give back. One such organization is Tide, which has donated up to $850,000 so far this year to Food Banks Canada COVID-19 relief efforts, The 519 and matching of the CanadaHelps Black Solidarity Fund.
Recognizing that they can continue to play an important role in supporting Canadians in need, CanadaHelps is proud to be working with Tide to announce the Loads of Hope Fund. As part of Tide’s expanded Loads of Hope program, the Fund will look for more ways to bring hope and optimism to people in need.
Tide Loads of Hope was created in 2005 to provide much needed free laundry services to those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Since then, Tide has expanded the Loads of Hope program to assist families in need of clean clothing across North America. The Loads of Hope truck came to Canada for the first time in 2013 to aid those affected by flooding in Southern Alberta. Over the last 15 years, Tide has washed over 55,000 loads for more than 40,000 families since the program launched. Stay tuned for more information on the new Loads of Hope fund.
